Find your balance between day and evening. Our Afternoon Flow Open75 is the signature Open class of our Jivamukti Yoga lineage, taught in a 75-minute format that offers more time to explore than the Afternoon Express Open60, while still being shorter than the classic 95-minute Open class. This extended afternoon practice gives space to settle into the flow, recharge deeply, and transition smoothly into your evening with clarity and strength.

Whether you’re a beginner, deciphering the difference between vṛkṣāsana (tree) and śīrṣāsana (headstand), or an advanced yogi who can put both feet behind their head, the class welcomes you, as it is open to practitioners of all levels. You practice at your own pace, following the teacher’s verbal and hands-on guidance. Āsana options will be provided for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students.

A typical Open class incorporates the five tenets of our Jivamukti Yoga lineage: śāstra (scripture), bhakti (devotion), ahiṁsā (nonviolence), nāda (sound), and dhyāna (meditation), presenting classical yogic teachings as relevant to life on and off the mat. This is supported by chanting, breath awareness, flowing vinyāsa sequences, alignment exploration, hands-on assistance, relaxation, and meditation.

All Open classes in our Jivamukti Yoga lineage include 14 points: āsanas, meditation, and spiritual teachings, in a sequence creatively designed by the teacher. Exuberant, eclectic music plays an integral role: you might practice to a shifting soundtrack of rāgas, global trance, hip-hop, spoken word, George Harrison, Sting, Krishna Das, Donna de Lory, Michael Franti, Bill Laswell, Alice Coltrane, and Mozart.

Open classes are called “Open” because they are open and suitable for all levels of practitioners. However, beginning students should note that there will not be detailed “how to” instructions; for that, students are advised to attend our Foundations, Basic, or Open(M) classes.

What makes the Afternoon Flow Open75 special is its timing and format: practiced in the late afternoon, it provides a chance to immerse yourself more fully in the flow of Jivamukti Yoga—longer and steadier than the Afternoon Express Open60, yet still more time-efficient than the classic 95-minute class. It’s the perfect way to recharge after the day and flow with strength and ease into your evening.

Über den Trainer/Lehrer

Love, joy, peace, acceptance, compassion, depth, grace, and gratitude. Julietta found her way to Jivamukti Yoga in 2013 in Munich, where she was working at the front desk at the Jivamukti Yogaloft to bring balance to her profession as a preschool teacher. She is forever grateful for her teachers from Munich: Michi Kern, Patrick Broome, Petros Haffenrichter, Antje Schäfer, Gabriela Bozic, Manfred Gauper, and Zsuzsanna Villanyi. She moved to Berlin in 2019, where she was not only deepening her yoga practice but also her knowledge about Sound System and Club Culture. She used to work at the legendary record store Hard Wax before she started to find her way back to the front desk at Three Boons Berlin. When Julietta is not on the yoga mat practicing or working behind the desk, she loves to collect vinyl records and create mixtapes with all kinds of music genres, from reggae to techno and whatnot, for her classes. She is currently doing the 630-hour mentorship under the guidance of Tara Sullivan and finished her 335-hour Advanced Teacher Training with Anja Ji. Julietta is more than grateful for the deep teachings of Advaita Vedanta and the best teaching skills she is learning from her teachers Anja and Tara. Not one day goes by when she isn’t joyful to be surrounded by all her teachers, friends, and students at Three Boons—Berlin's best yoga school—that Julietta is thrilled to call her home.
