!!!THIS IS A RUSSIAN LIVE-STREAM CLASS. We send you a zoom meeting link. The meeting will start about 15mins before class so we can say hi to each other!!!

Sundays 9:20-10:50 we now offer a Jivamukti Open60 Russian class with Anschela at Three Boons Yoga Mitte and on our Live- and Flex-Stream. While the reason for this new offering are mainly our many new guests from the Ukraine (who can come practice with us for free all of 2022), the class is also open to anyone understanding Russian (or not). Especially our Russian and Belarusian friends are invited so we can practice our togetherness as humans and yogis in these times. While we do not have a Ukrainian yoga teacher in our team (yet!), we are happy to be able to offer this class in a language most Ukrainians understand with Anschela, who is originally from Belarus. This class might serve as a good starting point and also place to ask questions for Ukrainian yogis who do not understand English or German so well yet. Anschela also has an extra training for trauma conscious yoga teaching and will be able to make use of this in the class as well. If you do not speak Russian, come anyways! Yoga is universal and Anschela will be able to give you some instructions in German/English.

Love, Мир and Yoga, your 3BY team.

ENGLISH

The Jivamukti signature class:

Whether you're a beginner, deciphering the difference between vrksasana (tree) and sirshasana (headstand) or an advanced yogi who can put both feet behind their head, the Jivamukti Open class welcomes you, as it is open to practitioners of all levels. You work at your own pace, following the teacher's verbal as well as hands-on guidance. Asana options will be provided for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. A typical Open class incorporates the five tenets of Jivamukti Yoga: shastra (scripture), bhakti (devotion), ahimsa (kindness), nada (music) and dhyana (meditation) by presenting classical yoga teachings as relevant to one’s life on and off the mat, drawn from the Focus of the Month essay, supported by chanting, breath awareness, flowing vinyasa sequences, alignment exploration, hands-on assistance, relaxation and meditation. All Open classes include 14 points—asanas, meditation and spiritual teachings—in a sequence creatively designed by the teacher. Exuberant, eclectic music plays an integral role: you might practice to a shifting soundtrack of ragas, global trance, hip-hop, spoken word, George Harrison, Sting, Krishna Das, Donna de Lory, Michael Franti, Bill Laswell, Alice Coltrane and Mozart. The class is called “Open” because it is open and suitable to all levels of practitioner. Even so, beginning level students should know that there will not be much detailed “how to do” descriptions; for that a student is advised to attend a Basic or Open(M) class.

Über den Trainer/Lehrer

Anschela’s Yoga Journey began with questions about who I am, the meaning of life, and similar, leading her to the Ramana Maharshi Ashram in India, in 2010, where she was first introduced to yoga, meditation, vipassana. From that time on, yoga became a big part of her life. For her, yoga is more than just the time on the mat; it’s about self-inquiry, about the way to interact with the world and ourselves, about experiencing a deep connection with your true Self, it’s about the unity of life and so much more. She finished the 300hr Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training in February 2019 at Govardhan EcoVillage, India, and the 800hr apprenticeship with her mentor Anja Kühnel. She also completed the 530hr Yoga Biomechanics Teacher Training (trained by Institute of Modern Yoga Theory and Practice), and the Trauma Sensitive Yoga Teacher Training (trained by Fundación Rādika). Anschela is very grateful to ALL of the teachers who have graced and inspired her on this exciting journey called Life!
