A practical training to refine how you support others through touch.

This training is for yoga teachers who want to offer hands-on assists in a way that is clear, safe, and effective. Assisting is not about adjusting people into a “better shape,” but about offering support that enhances stability, direction, and awareness in a pose.

We’ll focus on developing precision, presence, and confidence — so that touch becomes a useful tool, not something you hesitate to use.

WHAT WE'LL WORK ON:

principles of safe and effective hands-on assists
how to read bodies and understand what is needed
clear and purposeful touch
when to assist — and when not to
working with consent and boundaries
combining verbal cues with physical guidance

This is a hands-on training. You’ll practise throughout the day, both giving and receiving assists.

Inversions
Shavasana

INTEGRATION INTO REAL PRACTICE

Learning assists is one thing — actually using them is another. That’s why this training includes an additional practical hour in a real class setting ( date tba ).

I’ll be teaching the class, and you’ll assist one student throughout the session. This gives you the chance to apply what you’ve learned in a real environment, with guidance and support.

Not mandatory, but strongly recommended :-)

June 20th, 11:00 – 18:30+ 1h practical integration in a group class ( date + time will be scheduled personally )

Alexa discovered yoga when she was 15 years old. What began as a physical practice slowly became something she kept returning to through different phases of life. In 2021, she completed her first teacher training and since then has immersed herself deeply in the study and practice of yoga. Over the years, she has completed more than 1000 hours of training across different traditions. While she continues to explore many approaches to the practice, Jivamukti Yoga and Yin are the methods where she feels most at home. Alexa is curious about the many layers of yoga beyond the physical practice, from philosophy and chanting to the subtle experience of breath, sound, and stillness. In her classes, you might hear the harmonium, explore a piece of yogic wisdom, move through a strong and steady asana practice, or be guided into moments of stillness. At the heart of her teaching is the wish to create a space where people can experience themselves more fully. Her classes invite students to explore the practice with presence, curiosity, and a sense of joy.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

Until 15 April: no cancellation fee; your deposit will be refunded minus a 50 EUR processing fee.

Until 23 May: 50% of the total training fee is due. Any additional amount already paid will be refunded.

Less than 4 weeks before / no-show: full course fee is due.

You may provide a replacement participant at any time. In this case, the full amount will be refunded minus a 50 EUR administrative fee.
